Go Fish - That’s what amazes me I would walk
Tuesday, was in the office till noon and after that went home to prepare something for Pei Wen cos was her birthday and was celebrating in the evening. So we met up at around 5pm, caught Mr Bean Holidays the movie, it was really funny. I really had a good laugh and really enjoyed the show. After the movie, we went to Jack's Place for dinner cos i reserved a place there. It was quite a good place with the atmosphere and stuff, pretty good. Romantic and all.. *laughs* So we ordered mixed grill as we couldn't decide on what to eat, Pei Wen couldn't finish her food so had to help her eat some. Haha.. After dinner we went to a place called Minds Cafe. It was actually a place where you can sit down and play board games and thinking games with your friends. Its quite a creative way to relax and enjoy. So we went back to her place at and celebrated her birthday with a cake with her sister. It was not a really convenient but just wanted to so-called celebrate her birthday with her family members so that was the only idea i could think of.
Wednesday, Work work work.. but had a lot of projects coming up and rushing. Rushing here and there in the office. Was really tired..
Thursday, took a half day leave cos was the pianist for a service at night which was coordinated by my teachers, Rita, Henry and Pastor Chung. The event was called "Tenebrae" This is a latin word which means shadows. The main purpose of this year's theme is to recreate the emotional aspects of the passion story where we are brought through how Jesus died for us on the cross in a chronological manner. So was playing the piano throughout the service for 1 hour plus and was really feeling how Jesus felt at that time before his crucifixion. The mood of the service was very heavy and i guess it was good.
Friday was a public holiday but was the pianist for the youth fellowship. So started of at 10pm, topic the same as on Thursday. Ended at 12, had a game played called amazing race. The areas that we had to go were 2-3 bus stops from our church and we could only walk to the location. It was fun i guess and had candle fight in Bishan Park. My team was very tactical and we owning the other 2 teams. Haha.. Really enjoyed though was tired. Didn't rest for the whole night and in the morning. At 10, went over to help out with with the chalet organised by Jaslin and Pei Wen. Went to their house to prepare the food and all, after brought to the chalet. So we prepared everything and all then played the X-Box till around evening time then me and vincent set up the BBQ and helped to BBQ till the night. Was so-called the satay man for the night cos was busy barbecuing the food but also enjoying the food. Wen was busy entertaining her friends and all and i could see she was quite tired but enjoying herself. Haha..
Guess this is how i spent my week..
Reflections..
I guess sometimes God's will is very painful but if we accept it, we can always look forward to something better. For me, i guess i'm letting go and seeing how God will lead but as for now, I know his will is wanting me to let go, become close to him and knowing myself better. He showed me how i was not really ready for a r/s as a lot of events happened and i thought about it a lot. I use to have this thinking that i'm ready for a r/s, but being ready for a r/s also means letting the other party be ready for it too and seeking for God's will than ours. Its probably just the part where he wants you to want His will rather than your will & desires where it would be hurting. I guess it has only and always been a one sided part for me and that's why i realised my folly and decided that God's will would be the best. Though i hope someday, something might change but God is still in control so i'm giving my everything to Him. Thank you God for Jesus that he died for our sins so that we can be close to you again. Lord Jesus, i know how you felt on the day that you before your crucifixion, its so hard wanting God's will. But God would always give the greatest and best in His time. I pray that i will continue to grow in God's word everyday.. and her too =)

Thank God for guiding me these 20 years and will continue to walk beside Him though it may be pain through the times of molding but i know he is always there to hold me up.
Thank my family for the support and encouragement they have given me, chances for me to change and believing in me that i would one day change.
Thank her for bringing a special meaning to my life and will always enjoy the time with her, her presence has brought me closer to God and i am thankful for her.
